Dear friend, Dear family & friends,

together with their families

Miguel & Andrea

would love for you to celebrate their wedding

Tagaytay, Philippines

We've reserved 2 seats for you.

Begin our story

Chapter one

How we met

March 2019, NAIA Terminal 3. One flight to Cebu, delayed four hours, and exactly one working charging outlet.

Andrea had the outlet. Miguel had a power strip and a bag of siopao. By boarding time they'd talked through two phone batteries, and she had saved his number as "Outlet Guy".

He still is. Six years, two passports and one very patient barkada later, here we are.

Chapter two

The proposal

She said yes.

(before he could finish the question)

January 2025, a garden in Tagaytay with the whole of Taal lit up by the moon.

Miguel lined the path with candles, rehearsed his speech forty times, and got as far as "Andrea, will you—". The rest of the speech is still unread. He says he'll read it at the reception. Please don't encourage him.

Chapter three

Little moments

From our prenup shoot, and the camera rolls in between.

  • Batulao, 6 AM. "An easy trail," he said.

  • Golden hour by the lake. Ten minutes of calm.

  • The hands that will share the TV remote. Forever.

  • Corny? Yes. Sorry, not sorry.

  • Walking towards forever (and the snack table).

  • Even our shadows look married.

  • Lola's favourite roses, all grown up.

  • He wore the lucky socks. Of course he did.

  • Table's set. Save us a dance.

  • Cheers to four-hour flight delays.

  • First dance practice, take 37.

  • Above the clouds, Tagaytay fog edition.

Chapter six

The journey

Tagaytay is about 60 km south of Manila: 1½ to 2½ hours by car, depending on SLEX and your snack stops.

Illustrated map from Manila to Tagaytay The route goes south on SLEX, exits at Santa Rosa, climbs the Santa Rosa–Tagaytay Road to the Tagaytay Rotonda, then turns east along the ridge to the chapel. The reception and four guest hotels are nearby. Manila Bay Laguna de Bay Taal Lake Manila Makati Alabang Sta. Ready when you areMakati · 0 km

By car · about 1 h 45 min from Makati

  1. Take SLEX southbound and exit at Santa Rosa.
  2. Follow Santa Rosa–Tagaytay Road uphill for about 25 km, all the way to the Tagaytay Rotonda.
  3. Turn left (east) on the ridge road. The chapel is on your right after 2.5 km, next to a big lirio sign.
  4. From Cavite, take Aguinaldo Highway through Imus, Dasmariñas and Silang to the same Rotonda.

Parking: free at the chapel (30 cars) and at Casa Amihan (80 cars). Leave Manila by noon; Saturday traffic up the ridge is real.

By bus · about 2 h 30 min

  1. Catch a bus marked Tagaytay or Nasugbu from the Pasay terminals (EDSA corner Taft) or from PITX.
  2. Tell the conductor "Olivarez" and get off at the Rotonda (about ₱120–180).
  3. Take a tricycle to Capilla de Lirio: about 10 minutes, ₱100–150. Most drivers know it.

Going home: our shuttle drops guests at Olivarez and all four hotels at 11:15 PM and midnight.

By Grab · about 1 h 45 min

  1. Book a car to "Capilla de Lirio, Tagaytay". Expect ₱1,800–2,500 from Makati.
  2. Book your ride back early: cars are scarce on the ridge after 10 PM.
  3. Or hop on our shuttle to Olivarez and book from there.

Chapter eight

What to wear

Formal garden attire, in our motif: sage, cream, gold and dusty rose.navy, champagne, candlelight and dusk blue.clay, blush, sand and olive.

Gentlemen

Barong tagalog, or a light suit. A motif-coloured tie or pocket square earns you a nod from Lola.

Ladies

Long or midi dresses in any motif colour. Filipiniana sleeves get bonus points.

Please skip: white and ivory (that's Andrea's), and stilettos: the ceremony is on grass, so block heels and wedges are your friends. Tagaytay gets cool at night (around 18°C), so bring a shawl or blazer.

Chapter twelve

Questions, answered

Tap a question. We usually reply faster than this.

  1. Hi there! Ask us anything.
Can I bring my kids?

We love your little ones, but our celebration is adults-only (apart from our flower girls and ring bearer). Enjoy a night off!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Your invitation shows how many seats we've saved for you. Sadly we can't add more: the venue counts every chair.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

It's an unplugged ceremony: phones down, hearts up. Our photographers have you covered. At the reception, go wild.

Where do I park?

Free parking at the chapel (30 cars) and Casa Amihan (80 cars). Attendants will wave you in.

What's the weather like?

Tagaytay in June: 20–26°C by day, maybe an afternoon drizzle, cool at night. The ceremony is under a garden canopy. Bring a shawl.

How do we share photos?

Post them with #MiguelMeetsAndrea, or scan the QR on your table for our shared album.

What time should I arrive?

2:30 PM for merienda. The ceremony starts at 3:00 sharp. Filipino time does not apply; Andrea's mum is watching.
