privacy policy
last updated 2026-10-14
This policy explains what personal information Very Online Studio ("we", "us") collects through veryonlinestudio.com and what we do with it. Short version: we collect only what we need to make your website, we don't sell it, and we don't use tracking or analytics scripts.
What we collect
- Purchases. When you buy, Gumroad processes the payment and sends us your name, email, what you bought and the price. We never receive your card details.
- Intake form. For custom websites, the answers and files you send us (for example your resume, headshot, logo, project details and links). If you ask for a call, also how you'd like us to call, your phone number (for phone or WhatsApp) and when suits you.
- Booking a call. If you book a time through our scheduling link, that booking is handled by the scheduling service we link to, under its own privacy policy.
- Contact form. Your name, email and message.
- Technical data. Our host (Netlify) processes basic request data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
What we don't do
- No analytics, advertising or tracking scripts on this site.
- We don't sell or rent your information.
- Cookies: only a strictly necessary login cookie for our own admin area, and your light/dark mode choice saved in your browser.
Why we use it
To deliver what you bought, build your website, reply to you and keep records we're required to keep.
Who we share it with
- Gumroad, which handles payments and download delivery.
- Netlify, which hosts this site and stores form submissions, intake answers and uploaded files.
Both act on our behalf under their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep intake answers and files while we work on your site and for a reasonable time after, so we can help with changes. Ask us anytime to delete your intake and files, and we will. We keep basic sale records as long as the law requires for bookkeeping.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information. Contact us and we'll sort it out. Depending on where you live, you may also be able to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date above.
